Since I was a little girl I've been making dens....and don't think I'll ever stop..........

This weekend had an Eastern feel to it. It wasn't planned but that's how things worked out. We stayed in London and the plan was to go shopping in Portobello Road. Repair works on the underground changed that to Camden Lock. But that was fine because we haven't been for ages and it has changed so much. An amazing market has opened up in the old stables making a labyrinth of stalls comparable to a bazaar in Marrakesh full of old and new treasures from all over the world.

I fell in love with this little Indian puppet because she had such a sad face, and she only cost £2.99!

Then 'A' bought me these lovely Turkish slippers from a shop called Ottoman Klasik. That also has beautiful boots but they'd sold out all the small ones so I'll have to wait a few months if I want any.

And these beautiful harem pants. I've been wanting some since 'H' came back from her travels in India and Tibet. They are so comfortable and great with the slippers. I want them in every colour now, I think I'll be wearing them all next summer!

Then the Valentine weekend ended up with sound of Chinese New Year and dancing dragons....Happy New Year......
