As you may well know I'm obsessed with the photography of Lee Miller and was really pleased to see some of her work at the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester over the summer. Especially as I don't think that I'll be able to get to any of the upcoming exhibitions of her work.
So I was ecstatic to read that tours of Lee Miller's home Farley Farm House, are available from April until October each year. For further information you can contact Kate on 01825 872856 email: tours@leemiller.co.uk or visit www.farleyfarmhouse.co.uk
Miller was married to the Surrealist painter, poet and collector of Modern Art, Roland Penrose. A collection of his work is housed in the gallery alongside that of Miller, so it will be a fantastic opportunity to explore the lives of two important members of the Surrealist movement at once.
I'll definitely be visiting and report back.
